James has been a professional musician for over 20 years. In 2007 he received a British Phonographic Industry platinum album award for co-writing a top 20 hit that appeared on Now That's What I Call Music 67, which sold over 600,000 copies.
He has been playing the guitar since the age of 12, and has performed with bands in live music venues all around the UK. His first jobs working in music were at HMV and later at Universal Music, where he worked for six years as a Talent Scout and A&R manager.
James has been teaching for seven years and his academic career started with obtaining an honours degree from Kingston University in Music Performance and Composition.

DJ T (BA Hons)
DJ T began his professional DJing career at university, aged 18. After working as a Content Producer for BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, he left the BBC in 2009 to become a full-time DJ at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, and went on to support Basement Jaxx and DJ Yoda on tour.
As well as DJing, DJ T has released original music on Universal Music and Sony Records. His compositions have been used by Sony PlayStation for their promotional material, and he has compiled playlists for The Hippodrome Casino and the Melia hotel group, amongst others.
With over 20 years' experience as a DJ and in the music industry, DJ T is ready and willing to share his passion and enthusiasm with the next generation of DJs and electronic musicians.
