Roland DJ-808 and Serato software

Learn to DJ in a fun & educational way

Our workshops offer students of all ages hands-on training in the creative arts of DJing and music technology. Choose from the very latest DJ equipment and cutting-edge software, or an old-skool vinyl and turntable set-up. All equipment is provided.

As well as learning the art of DJing, our practical classes will introduce you to music production through the use of drum machines and samplers. At the end of the session you can take a recording of your set home with you.

All our instructors are professional DJs, engineers and DBS-checked teachers with over 30 years' experience. They will guide you through the different equipment and how to use it, and share those all-important tips and tricks that only experienced DJs know.

"We are lucky to be able to offer an opportunity to students who are interested in music, but not in the traditional sense - by which I mean choir, orchestra or instrument lessons. With Music Technology (or 'DJ Club' as the children call it) we offer the chance to explore a more contemporary world of music, with rhythms and beats that are more connected to their everyday lives."
